As New England descends into the frigid maw of winter, we at the Boston Ska home page would like to remember the tail end of summerOn September 26, Steady Earnest played the Hatch Shell, on Boston's Esplanade, as part of the "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" benefit. Although we all over-dressed, the day turned out to be very warm and summery.
Although the crowd could only be described as "sparse," it was enthusiastic, and with perennial crowd-pleaser Sam "Andre" Swartz sitting in on tuba, the band turned in a spirited performance.
